Once again, spoilers lurk beyond this point, especially in the story-specific sections. You've been warned.
On 'Kinaesthesia'
- kinaesthesia: sense of muscular effort in voluntary movement of the body
- Kana still calls her ex-boyfriend 'Hiromi-kun', despite the fact that
they're no longer a couple. Likewise, Hiromi calls her 'Kana-chan' –
perhaps a sign of how much he wants her back.

'For You' (music box version) as Taka wakes up for the first time.
'Thank You' for the scene where Kana holds Taka's hand.
'Sacrifice' for the flashback to Kana's apartment.
'She Was Weeping Sadly' from the end of the flashback onwards.
While searching for information on the game, I read the guestbook at Kana's Left Kidney. Someone suggested a sequel where Taka fell ill and Kana had to look after him. It didn't sound like much of a game to me. But the idea returned to me when I needed an ending for my fanfic.
Taka already needed Kana emotionally. I would make him need her physically as well. I would reverse their relationship.
It took me a while to figure out exactly how Taka would be incapacitated. Most of my ideas were either stupid, or out of character, or both. Eventually, though, I settled on spinal cord injury.
I couldn't resist alluding to the lyrics of 'The White Season' yet again, in preparation for further references in the two stories that follow this one.
A line I wanted to use, but kept resisting, was Is this what it feels like to be Kana? That, I feel, would have been bashing the point over the head just a bit too hard. =)
